Really good Thai take out. Prices are good and one meal has enough for two.
Best Thai Cuisine in Goldsboro! The staff is great and they never disappoint.
Food wise fantastic, service wise absolutely horrible. I've been by multiple times during so called operating hours and they were closed. Tried at different times to call and place an order and nobody picks up the phone, if (and that's a big if) they do answer they will hang up on you, or tell you it will take an hour for 2 orders then call you back 15mins later and tell you it's ready. How they are still in business is beyond me. If you're look more dependable service, availability, and just as good of food try Thai Garden.
Bad service! Went for lunch. Ordered 3 different dishes, water, & sweet tea. We received 2 spring rolls w/each order. 1 dish came out in about 15 min after we ordered. The waitress never came by to refill our drinks. After 40 min, we decided to forget the other 2 dishes b/c we were going to be late back to work. They said they make to order but 40 min is too long. They charged us for 1 dish, 4 spring rolls, & tea. It was ridiculous since we had no choice but to eat all the spring rolls b/c our food never came. Don't go if you don't have hours to wait! Plus its not that great. Have had better food, service, & pricing at other places.
The owners are very nice and they have the best food and Thai tea in the Wayne County area.
Showed up with some friends for my sisters bd and it was closed on a Thursday!!! This is our favorite Thai here in Goldsboro! !! Soooo disappointed. ..
I love the food at Royal Bangkok. That being said, the service is some of the worst anywhere I have been. Takes over an hour to receive your food. My husband and I have gotten there at 5 pm only to be turned away by the waitress saying they are too busy. Only two tables had people seated and they close at 8:30 pm. Today, knowing how long it takes for them to cook your food, we tried to take a proactive approach and call in our order. Their phone went straight to a recording stating their hours. We decided to go anyway, when we got there my husband asked if they had changed their number for take out and the waitress informed that no, she was just too busy to answer the phone. There was hardly anyone there. And she then informed him it would be over an hour wait. We left. It is such a shame. Their food is delicious. Best Thai around and you get enough for three meals.
Great take out food. Wish they had dine in.
Delicious food spiced to your liking, more than generous portions at an unbelievable price. Best choice in the area for a Thai craving, hands down!
The food is really good but I'd suggest ordering to go. Dining in did not seem too welcoming.
Best Asian food in town!! Big portions with reasonable pricing
My favorite Thai spot. Nice staff.
A local gem. They serve fresh, prepared from scratch meals. The outside looks a little broken down, but do not let it fool you! Janet, the chef, often comes out to check on her guests and asks if they are enjoying their meals. One note, however, is on spice. I usually get medium spiciness at Thai restaurants, but her "mild" is PLENTY spicy, so be careful. If you don't do hot, then make sure to order " no spice".
Food is good however they have awful costumer service, and have no set close nor open time. That is rather unprofessional....the Thai Garden on s.Center street is delicious, polite and reasonably priced. Try there.
Simply awesome. If you like thai food, this place is as authentic as you can get. I love it. From the thai tea to the chicken spring rolls, to the shrimp wonton soup, this place has delicious food. Take out only. Husband and wife from Thailand with a great system. The only thing is, there is a wait for food but for it to be just a few people in the restaurant, they make it work. Great people and efficient.
Pad Thai noodles was not prepared right. Tasted terrible. Spring Rolls was tasty though
Good food and a good prices. How spices you wanted it can be too you likes or even as hot as hour can't eat. And the thai tea is the best in goldsboro the amount you get for the price isn't matched anywhere.
Food is amazing! Yellow curry was very flavorful but even medium spice had very little kick, on the other hand the red curry mild was quite spicy.
The food is good quality, and you get very generous portions!! However, dining in takes forever to be served. I highly suggest you call ahead and get it to go. This is a mom and pop establishment literally run by a small family who does everything so it feels understaffed at times. That being said, if you're in the mood for Thai, no other place will give you more bang for your buck :)
Great food, great people
Had lunch today. The Pad Thai was amazing!! Will definitely order from here again
This place was some of the worst Thai food I've had. I ordered the pad Thai (yeah I know super basic Thai food) and it was just bland. ALSO I went in there when they were slow, and it took them FORTY-FIVE MINUTES to make pad Thai. That's just absurd. Go to Thai garden on center Street. It's heavenly there.
Great food, authentic flavor.
*******take out only ************ They no longer do dine-in. And don't let that fool you, they usually have a 30-min wait on food so be sure to call it in before showing up so you aren't sitting there (like I did) otherwise the owner was very nice and my food was delicious!! Generous portions tooBy the time I left on a Monday night at 1740, they were at 60-90min wait time.
Omg, authentic Thai cuisine. Amazing prices for the amount of food you receive. For $7.95 you can feed two or three ppl. My favorite place in this city.
Still one of our fave restaurants in town. They only do take out now, but when you see the portion sizes you won't be mad :) I highly recommend the spring rolls and pad thai, but everything I've ever had here was great. Plus the owners are nice, hard-working people that I would much rather give my money to then a chain restaurant.
Large portions but lavor is lacking. One of the things I look for in Thai is layered flavors. The pad thai seemed to be plain rice noodles with garlic chili sauce poured on. Meh. Can't recommend it.
Portions are huge, especially the Thai iced tea. The pad Thai was different than I am used to but still very good. They didn't skimp on meat and it was perfectly cooked. My family ordered chicken fried rice, drunken noodles and the seafood poe tak. Everyone loved their meals.
Food is delicious. I agree with other reviews about the not answering the phone. I stop by to order food or eat there and their food is superb. We have never been disappointed with the flavor.
Best Thai food I ever ate. Live near DC now and nothing compares. Every time I am back in Goldsboro I eat here.
Pad Thai mushy and very disappointing. Nice people. Wish it was a place to sit down. Wish it was better because I am looking for a good Thai place in ENC.
The best curries I've ever had, but everything else (including the service) is completely inconsistent. My friends and I call this place "Two Hour Thai," and for good reason.
Love their food and friendly owners.
Excellent food and price; get there early because they can't keep up with a full restaurant.
Fresh ingredients. Good food.
Best deal in town, great food and super nice owners!
AWESOME FOOD, GOOD PEOPLE!😎❤👏
The food is great, when you can get it. What I mean is they're never there, I tried to go there many times and they were closed during operating hours then when they are there the phone line is busy or they just won't pick up
Every time I come to Goldsboro I always make a point to eat here, it is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is so good and you get a lot for your money. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
The only place in Goldsboro to eat. Excellent Food. The servers will reserve you a table if you call ahead and when you arrive you don't even have to wait. We have the Pad Thai Love Love Love
This place has the best Thai food in Goldsboro. It used to be a full restaurant. But the owner says that it was hard to keep good help. They are take out only now, but the food is still the best.
The food is absolutely delicious, and you get plenty of food for your money. The service is excellent! Best in Goldsboro!!!
Their food is fresh and deli-sh. my husband likes the spicy noodles with basil and I/ the spicy eggplant. Yummy! Just be prepared for a possible wait.
A gem in NC! Generous portions. Friendly staff and great food.
They give you food for all the week lol but it takes you like 2 days to eat it yourself bc is delicious, a plate can easily feed 3 people's, the Pai Thai is the best of the dishes, the rice and teriyaki chicken is a lil bit sweet but not that bad if you accompanied with a hot pad Thai o another hot plate, you can ask him how hot would you like it, he's not very fluent in English but he does understand very fine, just make sure to speak slowly otherwise you'll have to repeat what you already say it, and the place is only to take out, that's why I give it 4 stars cus I drive 25 minutes picking at my plates 😂😂😂😂 but what's happened when you're hungry and the weather doesn't allow you to eat a the park? Honestly that's the only reason to rate it 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great value takeout-only thai
This place gives you so much food that you can make three more meals from it. One of my favorite places to go when I just want to bring the food home with me and it is very vegetarian friendly! 10/10 would eat again.
Great food great portions would recommend any day
Love N-33 with chicken and shrimp.
Horrible customer service. They never answer their phone. And their operating hours is not what it seems. They close when they want to.This is just ridiculous!!!
